Roses Are So Beautiful

What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
A quote from William Shakespeare's  ' Romeo and Juliet'  reminds me the beautiful roses I had in my balcony. I had more than ten varieties of roses at home. Since the place had lot of nurseries and a rose garden itself, it was affordable at cheap price. But  the variety of colors always confused me to choose the plant to buy.

This is a picture taken few years before. But recently when I looked at this picture a thought came to my mind. It simply represents the different stages of life. A bud refers the childhood and bloom refers to the colorful  ages of life. The faded flower represents the old age and finally without peals; the eternity.

I  love plants and flowers and cherish its fragrance and memories always.

Flowers are the music of ground
   From earth's lips spoken without sound...

Gulmohar Flowers

Gulmohar is a flowering plant and it is grown as an ornamental tree. Royal Poinciana is its English name and in India it is known as gulmohar. It comes in yellow and orange shades.

There was a tree in front of our house where we stayed in Bangalore. In the season time the tree covered with full of flowers and the view itself mind blowing. I liked this place because of these types of seasonal flowers. Colors changes according to season.

I used to have my evening tea in our balcony under the shades of its branches when I was there. I  remember in my school there was a gulmohar tree with yellow flowers in our assembly area. So these flowers connected in my memories at different ages with bright colors.

This is my first post in my new blog of colors. I would like to share some photography, travel experience through this blog. If you want to travel with my memories join the blog...
