Bangalore is the capital of Indian state Karnataka. It is known as the 'silicon valley' and  'garden city' of India. So when i say 'namma bengaluru' the first thing comes to our mind will be busy malls, crowded streets and traffic blocks. But there are lot of places nearby to visit and explore for every travellers. Here i'm mentioning few of them.

Nandi Hills, is a hill station and a popular tourist spot. Tipu's summer palace and fort is also there.

Big Banyan Tree, is a giant 400 year old tree. It is a natural wonder and it covers an area of 3 acres. This is considered as the fourth biggest banyan tree in India.

Manchinbele dam, is a small reservoir built for irrigation purpose. It is consructed across Arkavathi river and it is a scenic place with the Savandurga mountain in the backdrop.

Shivanasamudra falls, is on the Kaveri river. The island town of shivanasamudra divides the river into twin waterfalls. This creates the fourth largest island in the rivers course. Asia's first hydro electric power station is located at the waterfall.

There are so many rivers, lakes and waterfalls in the place. Lot of churches and temples to visit. Some other attractions are Lalbagh, Cubbon park, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Palace, Bannerghatta national park and so on.
